i am in need of a skilled writer who will be willing to help me out. i have an idea for the flashback story but i am not very confident of it so i thought that i would open this portion of the game up to you all. if you have already played the demo then you know that the main character has lost his memory so the way that he is going to remember is through flashbacks. that is where you come in. write an original flashback story for the main character in my game. you will be credited when the final build is released. i expect greatness because you are all lost fans and greatness is what is to be expected. just submit your entries to my E-mail at Jackpumpkinhead@writeme.com . all submissions must be sent by Friday October 19th and to avoid ruining the flashback story for anyone who wants to learn through the game please do not post your submissions here. please make the subject of the Email "Flashback Story Contest Submission"and please don't send your Story in attachments. on Friday October 19th i will announce who is the winner so happy writing.

The latest version of Lost: The Unoffical Game is almost finished. Though this version will still just be a demo it will include alot of the elements that the final version will include. I am also going to release a trailer for the game soon to. I am also looking for someone to help me with the flashback story. I have an idea for it but am not 100% confedent of my ideas. So if you think you would like to help with this and don't mind ruining the story and can keep the secret from the rest of the Unoffical game fans then let me know, either through the blog or email. Almost Done With New Version

I am really close to releasing a new version with some much needed updates. In the newest version you will find the first mini game, some stuff to do other than walk around, all of the maps will finally be completed and you will see some of the Jungle. I am really close, just a few more days or so. I am going to have a whole week to work after labor day. So i hope I can get the first Episode done or at lease a full demo. Until then here are some screen shots that I have been meaning to do. If you haven't downloaded any of the Demos then it will give you something to look at. If you have then this will be nothing new. As you know, the character Sawyer in the TV show lost is one of the best and funniest smart Aleck's out there, and I need help scripting some of the things he has to say to the main character in the game. Working Hard

I have been working like crazy. Unfortunatly it hasn't been on the game. I have been working on the game just not as much as I could be. Alot of the work that I have been doing is really time consuming. But I promise in the next version there will be some "missions" and at least one mini game.
I have also done some more work on the flashback story. Also I have planned out how the maps will be layed out. I am wanting to make it possible for you to select a map and find were you are on the island. But i need a map of the island to use that looks weathered. If you think you could provide me with what i am looking for contact me.

Here you go. New version. Once again not a whole lot to do but it should tide you over until next time. I am really excited about this version. It contains the first few minutes of the actual game. I am considering doing the game in episodes. I think I may have figured out how. I'll let you all know if I decided to do it that way. The next version will contain some missions and stuff. I would like to thank Razzle for all of the help, and I would like to again apologize for the delay. There are still a few things I need to fix on this version but nothing to glaring. If you have any suggestions leave them in the comments portion of the "Suggestions" topic. Have fun guys...

Busy Weekend

I am really sorry that I haven't updated in a while. I hope to have a new update to the demo soon. I have been trying to make more maps to explore and then i will finally have the time to start in on the actual story part of the game. I have a lot of great ideas, its just finding the time to do all of the stuff i want to put into it. I won't get any time to work on the game this weekend, one of my wifes friends died in a car wreck Tuesday so i am in Tennessee for the rest of the weekend. But as soon as i get back it is all business. I hope to have a new demo out the middle of the week this week. stay tuned for more later...

I hate to report so late, but i have been very busy this week. I havent gotten much time to updat the game that much but i should have a new update soon. I have just been working on the maps, flesh out the island a little better. sorry i dont have much to say but i should have more soon.

More Work Than I Thought

This is proving to be a great task. But I think with the help of some others this will really turn out. I should have a new update for the demo tomarrow. I have added the beach camp and all of the major characters to the map. I also started on the weapons system, and added a short video clip of the lost intro screen from the tv show. I am really excited to see how well this is all working out, and I can't wait to show everyone else.

Story, Story, Story

I didnt get anytime to work on the actual game itself because i was out of town but i did get the chance to sit down an write out most of what will became the main characters background and flashback story. I think this is one of the most important things in the lost tv show. it is what keeps people watching. To know who these people are and why they do the things that they do and why they ended up on the plane to begin with.

I have decided to make the game more puzzles but i am kind of playing around with the idea of having some zelda like action. But the main game will be puzzles and figuring out certain things by way of clues and talking to people around you. Just like real life. I hope to keep a good pace and finish this by the middle of the 4th season of the show.

I have also decided to use short clips from the show to show some things that would otherwise be impossible to traslate in game form. I am going to be updating the demo soon. I am currently working on the Island camp and will be starting in on the events that take place on the island. After i finish that part of the game i will add all of the flashback events.

So look forward to some new stuff, including the entire cast of the first season. If you would like to help me just contact me and let me know how you would like to help.
